How to Add a Blogger Atom Feed to Your iGoogle Page

If you have a personal Google account, you should be aware that you can customize it. Furthermore, you can personally add your own site of choice, so long as that site of choice offers an "RSS" or "atom" feed.

Conveniently, all blogger blogs offer atom feeds.
So that checking for a blogs updates does not require you actually checking the blog, do the following.

  1. Go to www.google.com/ig (the Google Personalized Home page). If you have an account, sign in. If you don't, you need to create an account and sign in before you go on; this is a pain-free process that is free- simply go to[1] and create an account.
  2. Once at the Google Personalized Home, in the upper right, you should see a blue button with blue text that says "Add Content," looking very inviting.
  3. Click it. A sidebar will come up. Notice the option that reads 'create a section'.
  4. Click this, and type in the address of any blog.
  5. Click go. Now you can see the latest three posts at a glance; what this means to you, is that you don't have to visit the blog itself to see if there's something new, or memorize the website address.
  6. Simply click one of the titles in the future to visit the blog and read the latest; feel free to comment.
